Pizza Man Saved a Woman from a Sex Predator

By Adrian Borja

Sevier County, Tennessee - It was a long delivery for pizza delivery guy Chris Turner of Capelli's Pizza and Subs, 32 who does not normally deliver pizzas in remote areas but decided one day to take the delivery anyway. When he arrived to the scene, he did not believe at first and thought it was only a joke. A woman popped out behind the couch, tied, silently asking him to call 911. He turned pale as he realized it was for real but he pretended to be calm and left after the suspect signed the credit card payment for the pizza. Turner went back to his van where his wife was waiting and went to a neighboring house to call for the police. He waited to make sure the suspect won't flee and finally the police came and freed the woman.

The woman whose name was not released for security reasons had been abducted by a man who frequented their night club last May 26, 2009 at around 11:50 am while jogging near her home in Montgomery Ferry Road in Atlanta.

David J. Jansen of Snellville, 46, abducted and repeatedly raped the 24-year-old woman inside his rented cabin in the farthest parts of mountainous region in Tennessee.

The suspect who was bailed out for $800,000.00 bond defended that there was no rape and that what they had was consensual sex. The police found out that David Jansen encouraged the woman to check the interior of his Dodge Charger. And when she sat in the passenger side, she was immediately tied and taken to the mountain cabin where she was forced to take prescription pills and was raped repeatedly. The suspect said that the woman enjoyed sex on bondage and that it was not forced sex. The deputies did not believe him.

Chris Turner acted with quick thinking for he thought, what if it was her wife who was abducted?

The woman and her husband visited Turner to thank him. Who knows what will happen after if Turner did not deliver the pizza!

Christy Jansen, the wife of David Jansen was in turn filing for divorce against his husband. She just could not take what happened. She's devastated to find out that her husband was with another woman.

But the real issue here is that, why in the world was David Jansen, a sexual predator who could be hunting for another victim right now, released on bail?! The woman, her husband, Chris Turner and his wife, and all other women will be in imminent danger! Who knows what David is planning next. What can you say about this, give some comments!

The gigantic telescope, the window to the vast reaches of the universe was finally repaired and ready to operate again. But harsh weathers on the ground was preventing the Shuttle to return, a measure taken to prevent any deadly accident from happening. But provisions aboard the Shuttle Atlantis is only until for Monday's consumption. The extended bad weather over Kennedy Space Center in Florida was entirely unexpected.

Attempts have been made this Saturday but was called off.

The Shuttle Atlantis which is commanded by Scott D. Altman will land at either Kennedy or Edwards Air Force Base in California on Sunday, the space agency said.

Alternate landing site will be at Edwards which is currently safe from harsh weather conditions. But NASA prefers the Shuttle to land in its home port to save transportation costs and time in preparation to its next flight.

Nigeria Braces for Civil War

By: Adrian Borja

Nigeria had been plagued by wars for many years now. However, recently, an intense gun battle have been raging for three days between Nigerian Oil Militants and Government Forces.

Militant's spokesperson accused the army of bombing a civilian village killing innocent people, women, children and the elderly.

"The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (Mend) is declaring an all out war in the region and call upon all men of fighting age to enlist for our freedom," spokesman Jomo Gbomo said in an e-mail to journalists.

"Casualties are mostly women, children and the elderly who could not get away quickly into the bush or high sea."

However, Lt Col Rabe Abubakar denied it saying what they torched was a militants' camp and what they killed were fighters.

Mend had been saying that they are against foreign traders who just come to their country and steal their 'Black Diamond'.

On a recent crisis, the militants launched an offensive against oil services boat and kidnapped Matthew Maguire last September last year along with Robin Hughes, who was freed last April.

Mend advised oil companies to go away and kidnapped 15 crews from two ships operating in the Niger Delta, to show their conviction. Nigeria is a medium sized country located at the west of Africa, near Gulf of Guinea.

Claims by the militants state that they are fighting for the good of their fellow country men but their actions clearly show otherwise by their oil theft, kidnapping and extortion.

The Joint Task Force will be doing their best to secure the nation.

Oil in the Africas had always been the fuels of war, it would have been better if it will not be taken by foreigners but rather, the foreigners should help Nigerians make use of their natural resources so that Nigeria will become a developing country.

Capitalism does not support this view, they intend to monopolize whatever resources they see accessible especially if they are left unchallenged. Can you blame the militants' cause?

Update(May 16, 2009): There has been a reported casualty among the 15 hostages who was killed by a recent military attack according to Mend
